Married Female Teacher Had Sex With Students In Her Car As Others Watched

A married female teacher accused of having sex with two teen pupils – including romping in a car in front of other students – has been sacked and charged. Kathryn Houghtaling, 26, faces up to 90 years in prison after allegedly sleeping with the boys – aged 16 and 17 – who attend Rochester High School in Michigan.

One of the alleged trysts took place in an apartment – while another was in a car as other pupils watched, according to Detroit News.

Houghtaling had only been employed as a special education and science teacher at the school since August.

She was fired on Tuesday after the shocking allegations emerged.

The former teacher allegedly had sex with the boys – one of whom she taught directly in one of her classes – between November 1 and December 31.

District officials said the alleged incidents occurred outside of school hours.

A letter from the school sent to parents on Tuesday did not give exact details of the sordid allegations.

But it informed them of alleged “inappropriate conduct of a Rochester High School teacher with students after hours”.

Houghtaling appeared in court today where she was charged with six counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, WDIV reported.

If found guilty she faces up to 15 years in prison per charge – each of which she denies.

Judge Lisa L Asadoorian detained Houghtaling on a $200,000 cash bond.
